Has anybody here used Model Mayhem? I'm considering creating a profile but before I make the effort, I'm looking for feedback from those who have used the site; the good, the bad, the ugly.

Thanks in advance.

I used it for a couple years then deleted my profile. Could never fine models that wanted to work in my area (Tampa FL.) for money or TFP.

Haven't had much luck there either. Some models who travel message for paid shoots, but could well be some line of scams or something. Seems like craigslist is become a better option.

Not directly but I have a cousin who lives in SoCal that shoots professionally. He frequently organizes photoshoots and may be a good start to join in and build a portfolio if modeling is something that you would like to venture. I attended one of his workshops before and he does know a lot of models.

It looks like the last model on the INK link was one of the models that I shot before.

Really!?! I have thought about using craigslist as a means to find models for a range of jobs but have not pulled the trigger just yet. Would like to hear any comments you might have about using craigslist.

Thanks
Mark

Posted an ad under creative gigs, hiring, and got a few inquiries already of, based on sent to me pics, not half-bad ladies. I did make a legitimate looking ad unlike 95% of possible creeps who try asking to shoot nudes without a single sample shot or name or anything.

Thanks everyone... I still haven't finished my profile but that's just me being lazy more than anything. Craigslist had not even crossed my mind so I'll have a look into that. Appreciate all the responses.
