Day 11 Photo

I had to find something to shoot in my office. Because I am trapped in here grading my students papers. The end of the term is next Friday and I have to have their report cards done and then I have parent teacher conference the week after. Sometimes, being a teacher really sucks. I love working with the students, but the paperwork side of it is not so fun. Especially since, I am so involved with my kids each day. I never get a chance to grade their papers at school. I am always bringing it home and extending my work day by two or three hours. Guess that is why they pay me (teachers) salary, because if they paid me (teachers) hourly, I would be making lots of overtime money.

Thank you. Me and Moab man tend to have a lot of fun. I just hope that after 20 years of marriage, we will still be as spunky as we are with three years of marriage under our belt.

My wife teaches 9th Grade PreAP English and I watch her grading papers non-stop 7 days a week. She is counting down the year and a half she has left before she retires.
I am already starting to look for a job for her when that happens.

You will have to find her a job, because if she is anything like me. Most summers, I have spent the time going on trips related to school field studies, and training. Except for last year, I stayed home and did not go anywhere. Moab man was ready to kill me by the third week of summer, because I was so stir crazy. You will have to get her a serious hobby that she loves or she might go crazy when she retires.

i usually last about 2 weeks before I am ready to shoot her. Since I taught her how to shoot an AR15 I do have to be a lot more careful though.

Thank you for the compliment. That means a lot to me since I am huge perfectionist and I am always comparing myself to others. Usually when I compare myself to others (Moab man) I become frustrated and don't want to do the photo's anymore. So thank you again. The compliment means a lot to me and tells me that I should not be so hard on myself.

Day 12 Dangerous Photography

Teenager in her natural habitat. Okay so I snuck downstairs to take a picture of my daughter in her room. I set the camera to full auto due to the inherent dangers of taking a picture of an unprepared teenage girl. The ISO was at 1600 and the on camera flash was used. I have to say for an ISO of 1600 it is amazingly clean. Especially, since I never went into the room. I just stuck my hand and camera inside her door, knowing that I could lose both, but wanting to protect my life. I snapped the picture and ran screaming to Moab Man, "I got it! I got it!"

Nice shot but you should never go into an environment like that without backup. Be safe.

And you think I'm dangerous with the stupid stunts I do! You have no room to talk after this little adventure into a teenage girls room. The 24 Hours in the Enchanted Forest mountain bike race seems pretty mild now.

No your mountain bike racing is still crazier than anything I have ever thought of doing.
