Gotta love kids! How dare they eat ice cream at a time like this ...
Good captures.

Actually, they were helping me out. They went in the fridge to show me that they had ice cream. So I decided to feed it to them before I ate it. I think I might of spoiled their appetite for dinner. O well, what are grand parents for? But to spoil dinner, hype them up, given them some sugar, then send home to mom and dad.

I worked for the University of Alabama from 1970 to 1980. College campuses were pretty interesting during the 70s.

From one teacher to another. I can not even imagine what it would of been like to teach in the 70's. From dealing with the college kids or working with the parents at a parent teacher conference. And I complain about the parents that come into my classroom today.

I was not a teacher. My wife is the teacher in the family. I was a TV engineer for the Alabama Public Television Network.

Day 23 - Valley Frost

Wow, what an evening. Took the daughter in for a minor surgery, only a surgery because technically it qualifies, and then it turns into a real surgery. She will be alright but will spend the next ten days nursing a 4 inch open incision cleaning and dressing it. But now I can finally breathe for a moment and get my picture of the day up.

Here is a valley frost picture from early this morning.

Beautiful shot. Still looks to cold for me though.
