March 4 of my Photography Project 366 - Jupiter

Received some new telescopes for our Math Engineering Science Achievement club (MESA) and I decided to try and take a picture of Jupiter with my cell phone - it was ugly.

March 5 of my Photography Project 366 - Jupiter

Broke out my good telescope to do some comparisons with the new telescopes (3" mirror vs 6"). Attempted the photo of Jupiter again - MUCH better.

March 7 of my Photography Project 366 - Me in my Lambo

Ok, the picture is bad. It all started because my wife promised me a new Lamborghini and my mother did not believe me. So I posted a picture of my new Lambo and my mother said it didn't count because she thought it was a Hot Wheels car. She said she wouldn't believe it until she saw me in the Lambo in my driveway. So this is the photo I posted on Facebook for my mother.

March 9th of my Photography Project 366

Got an emergency call from a prior client that her daughter needed photos like yesterday. Made a quick run over to her school and we did these fun little photos for her to use in her running for student body officer. Beautiful girl inside and out - great parents.

The first was the obligatory head shot she needed and they requested this squared up look. Second, everyone running was doing a jumping shot. To make hers different we did the dual flash setup. For the final, I got to create this one. I had wanted to try this, but had lacked a victim. I need to refine it further and get a deeper umbrella.

Thank you.

March 10 of my Photography Project 366 - Ogden 52

The local city of Ogden does what they call the Ogden 52. The city of Ogden is divided up into 52 areas. Each area corresponds to a card from a deck of cards. The first 52 photographers draw a card and that is their assigned area. We get one month to capture our best photo of the area. I decided to participate and drew the ten of spades. My wife responded with, "you got crud, that neighborhood is just a bunch of small houses." I told her I'll just have to be good. Her response? "You better be real good to pull this off."

In the end all photos are printed, displayed, and auctioned off as a fund raiser. It will be fun.
