Day 201 Moab Man says, "It seems our whole state burns down each summer." This year appears to be no different as if our air wasn't filled with enough smoke already, a fire on the side of the mountain really got itself going something fierce. Credit to our Ogden, Utah Fire Department who stood their toe-to-toe keeping the fire from homes at the base of the mountain.

Great clouds!! Does it look good in colour?

This was shot late in the evening, and the sun on the horizon was mostly blocked out, and so it was all naturally gray. I knew it would look great in black and white with all the cloud structure, but it would have been amazing if I could have got a setting sun to light it up in color. So... sorry, it was naturally a black and white photo.

However, my next post is in color. Had an early morning, a little after midnight, storm come through.

I used a red filter. It helps with the contrast and sharpness of the clouds. It was a well spent dollar - photography store had it in a just get rid of it clearance bin.

Due to the crazy business of life I was simply unable to keep up with my project 365. So... I figure I will continue to post in my thread but shift my focus to improving and increasing my editing skills. By no means am I putting the camera away, but if I don't take a picture then I will pull one up from the massive quantity of stored images since my focus is not on editing skills.

Going through my cache of images I pulled up this image of a bear I shot a while ago.

Thanks @wud

We don't see those kind of storms often. Tonight started to set up to have that kind of storm again. Unfortunately all I got was wet a lump on my head. :)
