Day 15 Full Moon

A student at school asked me for a photograph of the moon from tonight for his science report. Horrible shooting conditions with haze in the air so it took down the sharpness, but I managed to get the shot.

You could have just sat on a copier.......but I doubt that's the type of moon they wanted to see.....nice shot though, even with the haze and such.

Cool looking shot, would have never guessed

The best part, for me, is to show people what is in front of them but have never looked. Had that happen last year with a flower I shot up close. Printed it and brought it to the lady whose desk the flower was located. She went on and on about how pretty it was. Then couldn't believe me when I told he she looks at it every day. Until I had done that photo she had never paid that close of attention to the flower staring her in the face to see all its beauty.

That is one of the glories of photography: to show people something about their world that they look at every day, but never really see.

I like that thought, Moab Man. My intention is making everybody look beautiful. It's all about the right angle.

Day 19 - Siberian Lynx

Today's photo of a kittie cat.

Apparently the site is not allowing me to upload at the moment. I got this image up by going through...
Go Advanced, then the paper clip gallery upload, and then inserting as an attachment. NOT the way I like an image to display, but it's loaded.

Using Chrome and Internet Explorer. Neither allows me to click the "Select File" in the Insert Image. The "Close" X of the Insert Image works but not the Select File. I also only get the little finger that shows up to select on the very thin line of the bottom of the Select File button.

Just manually cleared the cache of Chrome with no luck.
