Not to interrupt the deepness, but here is Day 42.

Nikon D600 for Milky Way photography. Now I know there is the whole dirty sensor issue, but I also know its an overblown issue (unless you're the one affected) after much research. Additionally I have three cameras and am not in the position of going without a camera and can be patient with sending the camera back and forth if I do have a camera with an issue.

So are you happy with 600.?

Haven't had time to really play with it, but I can say the usable range for ISO is pushed considerably higher. Here is a quick shot using a 50mm shot with plenty of bad lighting to really make noise evident. No editing, a straight chunk pulled out of a raw file.

D600, 50mm, ISO 2200

And a quick Nik Tools noise reduction - nothing else.

Day 43 - Abstract

Not my cup of tea to do, but I want to try new things. Good or bad, here it is. Rain drops on a windshield shot with my Tamron 90mm at an angle on an angled back window of my daughters Camaro.

Day 44 No great photo, just a "What the heck was going on here anyway?"

I was walking across a field when I came upon these road lines. There is no road nor has there ever been one here.

Day 45 - In your face Don!

The other day Don posted a photo to the effect of what it looks like in 60°+ F temps. Well in your face Don. We posted a temperature 200 degrees higher than your measly 60. Can't wait to see how warm it will be when the sun rises.

With the flammability of hair products combined with these temps its probably a bit of a whoosh sound followed by a few wisps of smoke.
