I am trying to sneak up on the pair of Pileated Woodpeckers. Dang things are pretty elusive for a bird with bright red head feathers and the size of a dang crow. You should hear them hammering a tree. They sound like a jackhammer. I have only been able to catch them on my Canon SX40HS. Can wait to get them in the sights of my Nikon.

Thanks Lee,my motherinlaw is 85 and in a wheel chair we take her to feed the ducks ect,i stand about 10ft away slightly to the rear and find i get great opportunity's for pictures while she throws the food,wish i could convert them all

Yes there is a cafe on sight that sells small bags of duck food at inflated prices,we buy 5kg bags from the wholesalers

Hoping this will not be my only one today,i took it this morning for a Dacia forum as its one that isnt imported to this country,then the rain really started,
