Lovely photo again mike.

Can i ask what lens you use i have been trying to get shots of birds but mine always come out fuzzy round the edges.

I don't think i have a lens that's right for the job.

Dave

Its the sigma 120-400 you will be unlikely to hear me recomend it as there are better lenses,i chose it on price and what i thought i could hand hold and believe whilst not the best its the best one for me.

Dont know if i have done this right but @nook6

Even with a 400mm i could not get very close today, a pair of green finches the first picture gives you an idea, its the complete image

Wow. Keener. It is 5:20 in the morning here and pitch black! Is that tree in the foreground extremely tall? Or is it just perspective?

Its a tall tree and a bit of perspective

3:30? Ouch! Ha ha! I really like the color of the bark on that tree with the sun hitting it. It just draws my eye. (yes I have a interest in trees. One day I will post a picture of my school project.)

Great shots! The first are really impressive, the speed of the bird are showing but still you got it SO well focused.
The second I really love the pose of the bird and the composition you chose. Awesome!
