Thank you mikeee. The time difference really is what effected the colors. I have a Sigma C 150-600, which I am very happy with. I was initially distressed by the loss of the ice sickles color, but thrilled with sky color with this lens, but the time change explained the color nicely. If the 150-600 was shot earlier, I believe the ice sickle color issue would be resolved. I wounder, at that time, what the ski would have looked like? The first photo ice sickle and third photo sky would be the ideal photo, but that might not happen.
I love my Sigma C 150-600mm! That one is usually on the D7500 for wildlife. A lot of photography sure seems to be that you have to be in the right place at the right TIME!
I am relatively new at post processing on raw images, and I use a free open source product called Darktable.
