Mikeee's 2022 photo fun

Thank you mikeee. The time difference really is what effected the colors. I have a Sigma C 150-600, which I am very happy with. I was initially distressed by the loss of the ice sickles color, but thrilled with sky color with this lens, but the time change explained the color nicely. If the 150-600 was shot earlier, I believe the ice sickle color issue would be resolved. I wounder, at that time, what the ski would have looked like? The first photo ice sickle and third photo sky would be the ideal photo, but that might not happen.

I love my Sigma C 150-600mm! That one is usually on the D7500 for wildlife. A lot of photography sure seems to be that you have to be in the right place at the right TIME!
I am relatively new at post processing on raw images, and I use a free open source product called Darktable.

Shooting through branches on that last one so there's likely out of focus branches in front of the last one giving the odd discoloration.

My D7500 and tried the AF-P 70-300 hoping for the fastest focus.

What did you think of the AF-P? Seems to have caught focus on these guys just fine. I love mine quite a bit, especially for the price!

Well, there were plenty of shots that missed, but I don't think it was the fault of the lens. The wings were everywhere when mama was flying. I really like the lens.
So this is the FX lens, not any of the DX ones. I think there's at least 3 AF-P 70-300s.. lol
