Just arrived at Green Cay and saw the bushes moving. It was a raccoon and by the time I got the camera out, it passed the open area and back in the bushes.

Glad nothing happened to my lens from the fogging.

Playing with the sun (also with the Coolpix S3100)

Original

Some modifications - I'm surprised the sun turned blue. I thought it would be shades of yellow/orange

Totally modified

A water pipe broke about a mile from our house. This is four shots hand held taken around noon with the Coolpix S3100. The mahogany tree fell over, the generator fell and the pump station looks okay.

About two hours later with the D7100.

They used this to create that wall of dirt

LOL at the pic of the "Florida Crane" nesting area...

...and as for lens fog, that does damage? We get horrid high humidity from time to time here, and I get foggy lens occasionally as well. I keep some silica gel in my bag for potential extra moisture, but will it really damage the lens?

BTW, we'll wave if we fly over on our way down south next weekend. ;) Headin' down to Davie to see Pops again!

Thanks Pretzel.

Haven't been able to find anything about the fog hurting the lens, but it sure is annoying. I thought for sure 15-20 minutes in our heat/humidity the camera/lens would have acclimated, but guess not.

I'll wave back when I see you wave next weekend. Have a great time. BTW, it's been really, really hot.

I put the camera back in my basket when the gates went down. School started today

Then a county bus pulled up next to me just as the train was passing.

I use to use these when I made resin paperweights. People always asked where I got the itty bitty star fish.

Thanks Wendy. I did another pano with three shots. That one is in the almost thread. The center shot was blurry. Don't know what I did wrong there.

You did a very nice job on the cranes with a pano. I want to learn how to do them. Are you using Photo Shop to get the pano's?

Thanks Wendy. I don't have Photo Shop. I use ArcSoft Panorama Maker 5 Pro. It was included when I bought my Nikon Coolpix S3100.

LOL Marilynne. You have made me laugh 2 days in a row now :)

Glad I could brighten your day a bit.

Spotted a couple of turtles sitting on this pipe in the canal. One took off when I stopped my bicycle, the other wasn't far behind.
