Roseate Spoonbill - couldn't tell what it was, just started shooting. The kabooms started kicking in around this time.

Haven't seen one of these alive in a real long time. Usually see them dead on the side of the road. Tried to get around for a frontal shot, but it took off.

Thanks Phil. I've been trying to head out early so I'm not pedaling in the really, really hot part of the day, but it doesn't always work out. I put a wet washcloth under my hat and that helps quite a bit and we take lots of water breaks in the shade.

@nidding - I discovered Chris only made one of my handles (light colored one) and some assorted other things. His are packed away somewhere. He told me he would dig them out for photos later.
