Marilynne's Wetlands and Other Stuff

Thanks Chris. I was here yesterday, but later in the day. We left around 7:15am and pedaled to breakfast, then the wetlands, the park, Target, Faith Farm for hot dogs and got home around 3pm. I pedaled a total of 25 miles and did a wetland walk in between, Chris chose to ride instead of walk and did 32 miles total.

I'm familiar with most of the wildlife I shoot regularly. Have a few books and sites to find the ones I'm not sure about.

Not sure if this is a snake or a legless lizard. Chris was going to try to save it from the traffic. After this shot, I zoomed in on it and said it was dead. It didn't have any eyes.

I think that is a slow worm. (But I am not sure)I can remember that I saw many of them in my childhood

Chris and I had our annual physicals today. The doc was happy with all of our results.
