Spotted this guy on the ground. I'm use to seeing Monk Parakeets all over the place, but I'm not familiar with this one. The were two of them.

Thanks Ron. I removed some of the Virginia Creeper for shot #2.

That birdhouse has stood up through many hurricanes. Chris built it in 1980 something for my mom. After she passed in 1996, we put it in our front yard. As far as I know, no birds ever moved in.

When Zazzle had 50% off on mugs, I ordered this. I moved the photo and didn't realize it wasn't centered when I hit the okay button. My husband loves it anyway! It arrived within a week.

Well, a year ago I was shooting with a D5100, next month it will be a year with my D7100. My not so pink woven ash bicycle basket stretched and wore a groove in my fender and also wore the paint off the post, so this is my new basket. Not as large, but my camera bag fits inside.

This is one of the few times I miss the movable monitor of the D5100. This gator was right up against the boardwalk. I held the camera out and took two shots. I was amazed I got this.
