Thanks Ron. This is a rehab facility. The ones in this tank may not be released back in to the wild. They have a sea turtle with "bubble butt" that has weights duct taped to its butt so it can go up and down. Couldn't get a good shot of him.

Marilynne, These photos make me want to come and visit where you live. You have a wonderful, beautiful place to take such great photos.

Thanks Wendy. If you ever make it down here, I have an extra bike and we can pedal to some of these places. BTW, like I told Jeff (grandpaw) there's no motor on the bike.

Last stop at Gumbo Limbo. We're saving the rest for our next visit.

Suicide by train about four years ago. We didn't know the guy personally, but he bummed smokes from Chris occasionally.

Chris spotted this train cleaning the tracks, so I took some shots

and waited fifteen minutes in the hot sun after pedaling 28 miles.

It wasn't getting any closer.

Found out later it had already gone north and was heading south when we spotted it.

At the photo workshop we were told this is the most photographed branch in the wetlands. You've seen it in a bunch of my photos.

Reflections of the setting sun ending a very long day for us. A touch of color enhancement.
dsc_8397_01.jpg

We pedaled 38 miles for the day, two one mile boardwalks and a forty foot tower climb.
