Thanks Don, Roy and Lawrence! We named him Ozzie, yes his mate is Harriet. I don't know which is which, but they're always on one of those three poles.

Nice bird shots Marilynne. All our lakes are now frozen over and all the birds are gone. Most of them are hanging out in the farmers corn fields picking the leftovers and getting water from the streams. Time for a few warm days to thaw thing out.

Thanks Alan. I seem to be able to get closer to them lately. I think the cooler weather is numbing them.

Thanks Alan, the palm warbler, the gnatcatcher and a black and white warbler were all over that live oak. When they were close, they were behind a leaf. They were hard to catch.
