Never thought i would get to post a picture in this thread,the UK is not the best place for this subject.Decided to go for a walk with only the 18-55 and what do i see a terrapin hauled out onto an island in the park to enjoy the sun.Well here it is in all its glory 55mm D5100

No problem. So, you're saying that there are no turtles in UK lakes or ponds unless someone releases them? How long do they survive?
Lots dont but i think if they get a few mild winters they stand a chance of surving the bad ones,some of our canals have had piranha caught in them,the grey squirrel was introduced and has nearly starved the red out,it can get a bit messy.
