Brown Thrasher on tree in my yard. I'm told they're rare this far south. Guess the cold weather up north is driving them south.

Thanks Ted! It was a great pelican shoot. Didn't get a bad one in the batch. We stopped at the canal as he was making his first plunge. Almost didn't take the camera out of the basket and bag, then he just sat in the water. Guess he was waiting to have his picture taken. He did a lot of circling and two more attempts at fishing, then flew off into the sun.

Thanks Snap. It was fun. First time I ever entered a contest. It was weird. All the photos were on two walls. The first wall had a long line of viewers so I went to the other wall. I saw my photo, but didn't have my reading glasses on I thought they posted everyone's shots. My husband told me I got honorable mention.
