When I go out in the morning after getting off work, I usually go someplace to shoot the sunrise and usually I find some trash spread around by uncaring individuals. Then I just about always spend a couple of minutes picking up and disposing of properly in the trash cans that suprisingly are just a few fee away. So it seems laziness is the American way.
The Red Winged Blackbird kept following me and singing his tune
Red-winged Blackbird, Sounds, All About Birds - Cornell Lab of Ornithology
until I snapped his photo.
That is an excellent shot!! I usually cannot catch them in that open of a space!

Bat House - doesn't appear to have had much use
Black Necked Stilt chicks - this is what the guys in #991 are shooting
I saw the chicks when I was there yesterday, but I couldn't get a good shot, they were too far away. All mine were out of focus. Great shots!
Where I saw them was, when you go into Wako and you come to the split where you can go left or right, go right and you come to the burm. The chicks and the 2 adults were on the burm running around. I could only get a couple of shots and they scurried into the bushes that border the burm.
