Heard some movement outside under the window. Usually it's a cat or squirrel so I don't bother looking. Saw a possum rooting around. Grabbed my camera and went around the house. He was gone. Then I heard hissing coming from a large PVC pipe.

And me, too! No matter how hard I try, I rarely get interesting bird photos. I'm still trying to get the pileated woodpeckers that are all around here.
Rare species of hat turtle.
They make an excellent soup.
I don't think I need that much extra fiber.

Thanks Pat! The people behind me commented on the photo op I had! They were amazed that I could get so close, even walk around him.
The first shots were taken with the sun behind him. I didn't care that much for those. These were taken with the sun behind me. I did ask him to fly so I could get an in flight shot and he did, but unfortunately I forgot to tell him which direction to fly and he went right under the boardwalk!!
