This is a test to see how I can post a photo since my old way not longer seems to work.

That didn't go well. Let's try this (clicked on Insert Image icon)

Takes way to long for the amount of photos I post, but it did work.

You probably already knew this... but when I click on it, I only get the thumbnail...

Yes I know. Guess I won't be posting very many photos if I have to do it 1 at a time. I'll just upload them to the gallery and forget them after that.

First off, I want to apologize for the poor quality of these pictures. We just got to Green Cay when two bob cats were spotted just to the right of the entrance. Chris stayed with the bikes while I ran to the walkway. Missed one of them, but barely got these.

Marilynne, I think if you would add some contrast or go to levels and move the middle slider up some you might see a big difference. Nice shots.

Thanks Jeff. I'll try to adjust the contrast. What do you mean by levels? I only have ViewNX2 for pp.

OK, I upped the contrast and they do look better, but now they you can see how blurry they are.

The first photo was fine. The subject is far more important than the mechanics of the photo. I'd much rather have a fuzzy photo of Bigfoot, than miss the shot entirely because I was setting my camera for the optimum shot. I'm sure the Zabruder film is a joke to true movie makers, but its importance far outweighs the critics opinions. Last weekend, my brother-in-law heard a noise on his patio. When he looked out, there was a huge hawk holding on to a dove. The hawk just looked at my brother-in-law very calmly. Great catch. No camera. Nice catch Marilynne.

I think this was a Mother and Chick. The little one kept crying out and the Momma kept answering.

Levels is an adjustment that I use in Photoshop. It may not be available in ViewNX2. I have ViewNX2 but have never tried using it. I have it and did a quick look and don't see it in there. I also have Lightroom but haven't tried it either. I use Photoshop CS5 for all of my post work. The others are good also but I started out with Photoshop and know more about it and that isn't a whole lot.
