Juan is 80 years young. He feels if he ever stops working he will die.

While watching a hawk above, I heard this raucous to the right. I don't think it's mating season yet, but the chase was on.

Marilynne, when you get a set of those plastic bags on you, be sure and get Chris to take a photo of you modeling them.:D

I simply had to run in the house and get my camera when I saw Juan and his plastic bag pants. Do you think they'll ever be the fashion rage??::what::

This shot was totally dark. I moved to contrast to -100 and the brightness to 100 in ViewNX2 and this is the result. Since the sky was really, really gray, it disappeared. Kinda looks like color sketch.

I was thinking of using this for the weekly challenge, but I didn't notice the differences until processing.

Nice looking cookies but the color balance looks strange.

Jeff, I can't seem to process stuff in my kitchen correctly. That's without a flash, when I use the flash, everything's to white.

Edit: I'll be making some more tonight. I'll try shooting them under a different light.

Marilynne, try this.....
Set camera to ISO 100
next turn on the rear LCD screen
next set white balance to "Flash"
next press in the button that make the flash pop up and hold it down
while holding down the button that popped up the flash rotate the front command dial to either add or subtract up to three stops of light from the flash and then take the picture
when you are done remember to return the flash back to "O"

You can control the output of the built in flash by doing this. Sometimes you might just want to add a little fill flash without over doing it and this will let you accomplish that also!

I did some test shots on the wall. That made a big difference. Thanks Jeff.
