I was over at the first gazebo at Wako and saw the osprey circling near the second gazebo. This is what I saw when I got there.

Had a surprise PM from sonicbuffalo yesterday. He was in Ft. Lauderdale and came up to visit with me at Wako.

Chris and his wife Ginny.

They are a very nice couple and I enjoyed spending part of my day with them.

This guy hung around for a little bit, then went under the boardwalk. Guess he didn't like having his picture taken. The moorhen that was going crazy was happy the gator wasn't looking for lunch!!

Went over to Green Cay during our evening bike ride. Spotted this baby turtle in the parking lot.

You did very well. I can barely see any artifacts, but only because I am looking for them. Before I read your question, I didn't see it at all.

What is obvious is a great Ibis photograph! IMHO, with a bit of cropping, that shot gets printed and put on the wall!

Thanks Joe and Wayne.

I don't want to crop any more. Since I didn't get the whole Ibis, I cropped it that way for the shadow.

Too Cool!!! Nice o be able to do that....

Pat in GA

Pat,

I can attest to Marilynne's wonderful hospitality and graciousness. I visited Wakodahatchee Wetlands this past June, and she met me at the boardwalk entrance and gave me a wonderful tour. I'm confident that sonicbuffalo and his wife (Chris and Ginny) were treated to a very memorable photographic experience.

If you're so inclined, you better do this quick before Marilynne incorporates and charges for the tour. Hopefully, when she does, she'll give us a Nikonites discount.;)
