Marilynne it seems you have photos falling at your door step, what are we to do?

I can spend a few hours, at least, at Wakodahatchee Wetlands. It's only 1.9 miles from my home. Been trying to get there for sunrise and the early morning wildlife. I take at least 400+ pictures, then sort out the best for posting.

Went to the West Delray Regional Park this afternoon to watch the remote controlled planes and boats.

Yucky morning, rain, so no bike ride or wetlands. Doctor appt for my husbands back so won't be taking any photos. Here's a shot of the Green Cay Nature Center taken in July with my S3100 (prior to purchase of D5100).

Another yucky day. Sun came out a little so I walked down the other end of the street.

But nothing special, so I'm back in my yard.

Finally a sunny day. Made it to Wakodahatchee Wetlands this afternoon.

Gator minding his own business.

Anhinga didn't like the gator in his space.

Don't know what made the juvenile Great Blue Heron jump!

This guy followed me all afternoon.

I saw the reflection of this Green Heron before I spotted him.

Marilynne, I have wetlands at my doorstep too, but being in Canada, i don't have all the same wildlife as you, lol love your shots. Oh, and I love the leaf too!

Spent a couple of hours at Wakodahatchee this morning.

First saw this gator

Hooked up with this pair of Egyptian Geese. I was able to get real close to them when they decided to land on the deck. The male kept hissing but luckily he didn't attack.

I'm going to drive around Lake Okeechobee tomorrow. Should be an all day trip. Lots to photograph.

Went for my bike ride this morning and took the big camera with me. I was gone for 1 1/2 hours. When I got home my husband was really ticked off. I didn't bring my cell phone. Met lots of new people today while I was taking photos of their yard art and plants.
