We lived in West Palm for 3 years through Hurricanes Frances, Wilma, and one other, but I never knew that wetland area was there. Maybe when we come down to go on our next cruise in late September we will check it out....but it might not be as active! I was in sales down there, on commission so I wouldn't have had time to explore very much.
We did go to Everglades City and did a mangrove airboat tour which was cool. I'd love to live down there again. I really miss it!
Excellent photos!!!!!!
So you lived here in 2004 and 2005 for those hurricanes.
If you make it here, I'll gladly show you Wako, Green Cay and Loxahatchee if we're in town.
Do you cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale or Miami?
So is this what you do Marilynne? Cut off the top o heads of those who disagree with you. That seems a little harshChris and I were having a discussion yesterday after he viewed my red winged blackbird shots. He told me I was using the wrong lens. He felt I should be using the 18-55mm since the birds were so close. I told him that the birds would be real tiny if I used that lens.
This was to prove my point using the 55-300mm.
55mm - I know, I chopped off part of his head

I don't know if he gave up or gave in after I showed him these shots.
Now you are sounding like " Hard hearted Hanna from old Savannah, down by the seashore, pouring water on a drowning man"Yes Ron, that's the punishment for not believing me - off with the top o' the head!!
Have you seen all of my headless birds in the almost thread? They didn't behave either!![]()
Well if you can restore poor Chris's head we could just put this incidence behind us.Had to look that one up Ron. So that's what you think of me!!
