On Thursday a photographer friend and I drove 1.5 hours to Vista View Park in Davie to see the Burrowing Owls. We visited about 7-8 nests. Most of them were sitting on the poles around their nesting site. We found a couple in some trees.

This nest had the most owls. When we were walking towards them, the grass was so high, I stepped in a fire ant nest! Got both feet!! Glad my friend had hydrocortisone in her car.
