Tuesday at Peaceful Waters

The Sandhill Cranes were outside the gates when we pulled in the parking lot. When we got out of the car, they were entering the park. We couldn't find them inside until one popped up on one of the floating islands.

Then the other two popped up.

The only good shot I got of the Mallard. It went into a shaded area and I simply could not bring out the green on its head.
