I got a call from my photographer buddy to get over to her house right away. There were two Male Ruby Throated Hummingbirds in her Firebush plants. It's the first year she ever saw hummingbirds there. She said she was sitting in a chair about 5 feet from them, so I brought my D500 with the Tamron 18-400mm lens. When I got there, I realized I should have brought the Tamron 150-600mm. Not too bad...

According to Butterflies and Moths of North America this is a Laugher or marbled tuffet moth caterpillar.
