This turtle was crossing the road when we arrived. By the time we stopped the car, it was on the side of the road.

It's covered in canal stuff.

Since the parakeets were a bust, we headed over to Gumbo Limbo. Saw the Bananaquit for about 10 seconds and it disappeared.

Got these instead.

Monday at Wako

Last week I was talking with someone that was wondering when the "moorhen with the white beak" were coming back. Well, the "coots" are back, both the birds and snowbirds from up north!!

Thick pancakes. I tried to remove the pine needles, but they are glued in.
