About 5 minutes later, a female shows up and they circle each other

While I was waiting for something to happen, two Black Necked Stilts flew by and landed way on the other side of the retention pond.

Well, nothing happened and she took off.

 

[Marilynne]

Then another female came around. They circled each other for a while and again nothing happened. She left and so did I.

Yesterday at Wako - the blue grey Wood Stork was born either Thursday or Friday.

If you look really, really close, you can see a little of the fish mom dropped for it.
