Yesterday in our yard, after the tornado Tuesday night

Their avocado tree blew over and was on the neighbor's roof. He was out there in the rain chopping it down. That's Chris inspecting the yard.

Then the wind picked up again and the rains came. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more shots of the damage today.

Nice photos of the hurricane, Marilynne. Keep up the good work. Looks like your damage is minor. Please let us know what else is happening and please let us know which damage is yours and which is your neighbors. Looking at your photos I am not sure which is which. For example, is the damage truck yours or one of the neighbors (I think it is your neighbors).

My damage is posts 1343-1346. Next door neighbor starts with the mailbox, two houses down (1351) is the truck.

Sorry about the damage you have had. While not as bad a s some people have endured, it still hurts. I'm sure that bird house meant a lot to you. Hang in there!

Thanks Woody.

We found some damage on Chris' truck and noticed a wall of the house had red markings on it. We think the birdhouse hit the wall, then the truck. Minor scratch. Chris made that birdhouse for my mother and she's been gone a long time now. At least we have photos and memories. BTW, the birdhouse didn't have long to live anyway. We did find nesting material and a plastic bag in it.
