I've been getting a lot of worms in my papayas. Did some research and found out some fly lays its eggs inside. Trying the plastic bag method. Don't know if it's working yet.

Yes, I see that in your avatar. Never gave my white Jeep a name. It's a 1989 and currently has 235,000 miles.

My 1972 240Z was that color and its name was Zac.

235K miles? I'd say that's pretty good for a Jeep, but then again, it's pretty good for any vehicle. Most Jeeps that I know of lasted nowhere near that long due to rough treatment and neglect by the owner. Keep the fluids fresh and the seals in good shape and hopefully you can get a lot more out of it.

I had engine issues with my 1988 Land Cruiser (212K miles) because someone almost ran it out of oil when I was on a long trip abroad. (When we drained the oil for a change, only a bit over one quart drained; it's supposed to have 8 1/2 quarts in it when filled.) That was a big oops, but I was finally able to find another OEM engine for it, and it was rebuilt a bit over a year ago. It's no longer a daily driver for me, but gets out of the barn every week or two.

Keep 'em going. They're better than the stuff made today.

Although I agree with you on this point, I do like my Subie Outbacks. One's a 4-cylinder 2011 and the other is a 6-cylinder 2015, which I especially like as my daily driver. (I especially like the 2011 because it's paid for! :D) The 2011 is the car that my son and daughter use when they are in Gainesville for school. Although, right now it appears that only my son is returning for the Fall Semester.

Marilynne, your photo led me to look up the specifics for Cosmos online. It is an interesting plant, especially the part of it nearly thriving on neglect. I believe that I've seen them growing in the wild around here.

Is the photo of one of yours, or is it otherwise. And is the second photo edited, other than a crop?
