Chris and his bicycle slid across the pavement. He was unresponsive for a couple of minutes. A fire truck and the paramedics arrived at the scene. The paramedics took him to the hospital, the fire truck brought our bikes home.
This is how he looked when he arrived at the ER.

He was disappointed that I didn't get any shots of the fire truck and paramedics.
I like the close-ups, Marilynne. Was its eys really as cloudy as it appears in the photo, or was that part of the nictating membrane?

I hope he is well on the road to a full recovery. That must have been frightening! Get him a new helmet for when he climbs back on the bike!
Get well, Chris!

POOR CHRIS! It was just over a year ago that my wife had an "altercation" with a school bus on her bike. Frightening stuff. Take care of him and I hope for a quick and complete recovery!
Wow i hope Chris makes a full recovery, its strange the excuses women will make to cover the brutality to their husbands ::what:: tell him to remember the magic phrase Yes dear your right
