It's probably in your profile, but the work computer is having fits pulling that up. Do you mind if I ask what 600mm lens you're running? These are nice and sharp, and I'm in the market, so... :)

Thanks Pretzel!

I'm using the first generation Tamron 150-600mm. Had some problems with locking up at the beginning, but once I figured out if it couldn't find focus after a sec or two, take a breather, so I haven't had any problems in a long time.

Marilynne, I know I have said this before but I think it is worth repeating again. You just amaze me at the with the quality, variety and the amount of images you come up with every day. Sometimes it makes me want to retire my cameras and get another hobby. GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the kind words Jeff!

I'll never be competition for you, so don't hang up those cameras. I have no control over the variety of wildlife around here. Wako has lots of birds and two miles away, Green Cay doesn't have much, but they do have a screech owl.

Also, I'm three hours south of Disney if you ever want to check out my stomping grounds.

Ok, this was shot near the end of my walk at Wako on a 90 degree day. My arms were feeling the weight of the Tamzooka and this bird simply would not show its face. Based on Sibley, the closest I come is a Baltimore Oriole. Please let me know if incorrect.
