@Marilynne, I do not believe I have ever seen a photo of a Wood Stork. These are very good shots... but they are a strange looking bird. They come by their name honestly. Thanks for sharing.

Lots of folks think they're ugly and don't realize how nasty they are. They're taking over the tree islands and mating has started. Won't be long before we start seeing babies.

I really no nothing about them. They reminded me of a creature in a movie like Dune... almost a bit spooky looking.
