Not sure what this gator was doing. It was moving slowly towards one of the tree islands. I was hoping to see it go ashore. When it got to the island, it back paddled and turned left.

This was as it approached the boardwalk.

It went under the boardwalk and I once again thought it would go ashore on the mainland, but once again it back paddled and stayed under the boardwalk.
