Pedaled over to Loxahatchee yesterday. The rim canal to the north is now open for hikers/cyclists.

Looking north - we went a couple of miles and this is all we saw. Not one single bird, dragonfly or butterfly.

This was the highlight of our visit to Loxahatchee and we don't know why it's in the middle of nowhere.

Had a picnic lunch in downtown Delray yesterday. Spotted this guy with sorta dive gear on. When I spoke with him, he said he was going to inspect the sea wall.

Just about that time, the skies got really dark and the wind picked up. It's a six+ mile pedal home and I had to stop at the Delray camera shop to pick up a new battery.

At first I thought this was a Little Blue Heron, but then I saw it's a TriColor Heron.
