I always thought the stripe on the bill was for a juvenile like it is on other species. I was surprised to read this is an adult breeding Pied Billed Grebe.

I watched this Iguana walk towards the Wood Stork

Then it looked like it changed its mind

I waited awhile for it to do something else, but it didn't move.

Spotted this Red Shouldered Hawk on the ground. A couple walked over and told me the hawk and a Great Blue Heron were discussing the ownership of the bird until the heron decided it wasn't worth it. Sorry I missed that. Naturally, the hawk didn't pick a great spot for shooting.

I walked to another spot on the boardwalk to see if I could get a better angle

You can see the feathers of lunch, but to many branches. When I was heading back to my original spot, the hawk took off with the bird and all I got were blurry images.
