Started the New Year by pedaling over to Lake Ida. We were hoping to see some hover jet packs flying over the lake. Not. Lots of wave runners, but nothing special that I felt like breaking the camera out for.
Next stop the ocean at Delray Beach. It was a beautiful day, low 80's and a stiff wind. Just right for Hobie Cats.
After supper we went for an early evening pedal. Wound up at Green Cay and since it wasn't planned, I only had the AW110 with me. Ellen's legs were hurting a tad, so we walked around the building to stretch and saw a bunch of folks looking at something. There were five Black Crowned Night Herons scattered in the trees. This is the only shot I was sorta able to save.
Ellen and I wound up with 28 miles for the day and Chris had 30 - he started before Ellen arrived.
Funny looking bike at Wako. The driver told the security guard two employees told him to park there. The security guard told the driver he works alone, there were no other employees.
