Hadn't planned on visiting Wako, but we saw a friend drive by on her way there. Hadn't seen her in about two months. Had the AW110 on me. Glad I didn't see anything major.

This GBH was hiding behind a pond apple.

Last night I told Chris I wanted to get a smaller camera for general bike riding. The D7100 with the Tamzooka is a hassle to take out when we're just riding and spot something here or there. He had no problem with it. After doing some research, I narrowed it down to the L840, P530 and P600. After sleeping on it, I pulled my D5100 out of the gun safe and mounted the 18-55mm on it. It's perfect for my needs.

looks like you have your work cut out for you. My maniac landlord just cut down a Chestnut tree in front of our apartment building and I was able to get enough for about 4 bowl blanks, but will probably turn them while still green.

Not sure what Chris has planned for them. I should have taken a shot of the other wall. That has pen and bottle stopper blanks.

Glad to hear you were able to rescue some Chestnut. I'm sure those will be pretty bowls Ron.

A tropical wave (fancy name for a really heavy rain) hit us on Tuesday. These are some of the clouds before the storm.

That's what I used to do Roy, but once I got the Tamron, it hardly ever comes off the D7100. I might go back to using the 55-300 on the D5100 since everything seems so small with the 18-55mm. When I'm on the Trek Pure LoStep bike, I have the basket. A basket didn't work on the Trek Shift 3, with all the cables.
