Marilynne's Wetlands and Other Stuff 2015

I never do anything with my work except enter a contest here or there. I got a free reusable shopping bag offer from Shutterfly (not including tax and s/h) and checked out their stock. I found a bag I thought would be perfect for my abstract heron. I know, I should have ironed the bag before taking a shot, but I didn't want to wait. I think Shutterfly did a pretty good job.

We had a picnic lunch yesterday at Morikami. Spotted movement out of the corner of my eye.

While pedaling really fast away from a pending thunderstorm, I saw this hawk fly across the road and land in this tree. I asked it if it would please wait for me to stop and unpack my camera. It did.
Not sure if it's an immature Cooper's or Red Shouldered Hawk? I used Merlin and got two different matches on two different shots, but both were immature.
