Saw a couple of Great Egrets in one of the canals. Even the wildlife doesn't like the yucky weather!

Your's is one of the better shots in the newsletter, Marilynne, if not the best one!! I'm not at all surprised that they'd publish your photos!!

Thanks Wayne! I submitted another one today. Let's see if it makes it to the next issue. They publish quarterly, I usually forget I submitted something, so I get surprised when I see it.

Oh, I am sure. I think my pan cost about $35, but that is just a guess. It has been a while since I bought it and I am old.

Just checked BB&B, it's $16.00 by Wilton. I have a few of their pans.

Looks like I created a blog. Must have hit blog instead of like.

I haven't been on Nikonites for several days, so I'm catching up. So sorry for your loss. Thanks for the great pics!

Feels like forever since we had a sunny day. Also feels like forever since I've been to Wako.

This immature Red Shouldered Hawk flew by just as I arrived at Wako. I watched where it landed while I locked up my bike and hoped it would still be there when I had my camera in hand.

It was shy.

Is she still looking at me?

I'll just pretend she's not there.

After this, a COP (Citizens on Patrol) car stopped maybe ten feet away and decided to get out and do some stretching. Guess who didn't like it besides me!!
