Marching Band

Over the last few months, most of all of my photography efforts have been for the Niceville, Florida Senior High School Eagle Pride Marching Band. I've taken between 2500-2700 shots in what can mostly be described as fair lighting , at best, along with three other "band photographers". Selected photographs are posted at NHSEaglePride's Photos : 2013-2014 Eagle Pride | SmugMug

Here is a link to the band's performance/assessment at Troy University earlier in the year: Niceville High School Eagle Pride Band 'Sound of the South' at Troy 2013 - YouTube

Another link to their abbreviated performance at the Florida Class 7 State Football Championship game in Orlando on Dec 13th: NIceville High School Eagle Pride Marching Band at state ch - YouTube

The marching band had about 275 members this year, down from about 400 in 2007-2008, but still a fair size for a high school band. I hope you enjoy their performances if you're inclined to view them.

Thank you, but I can't take credit for most of them. For some games, though, about one-half of the photos are ones I took. We have some very talented people working for the band: all parents of band members.

So far, it's been a lot of hard work, but I've enjoyed it. The best times are when the band members say they like the shots.
