July 1st is Canada Day. What better than a family pool gathering and lunch to celebrate our great country.

I just realized I didn't post the right portrait of my sister's grand-daughter Émilie. For a portrait taken with the D7000 and the 18-200, I can't complain about the outcome. I've been writing for a while that I LOVE SOFT NATURAL LIGHT for faces.

July 8th. Went outside with the Sigma 105 macro and the Tamron 1.4 TC. Thought I could get closer to bugs. Seemed to have worked.
