Well, ten days later and I finally got access to an OK internet connection. So here are a few pics from Vietnam to cover my lost days. I'll just post 3 per post to save bandwidth and post smaller images, so if you want to see them bigger, just click on the thumbnails. So far, this trip is nothing but great. Landscapes and people are fantastics.

And 3 more. Sorry but I don't have the time to read and respond to other topics or posts since I had an agreement with my GF that I wouldn't be spending so much time on the computer while vacationing with her.

Marcel, great to hear from you and know the trip is going well... all pics are good but I especially like the bride and the 1st one (HDR) in the previous post.

Here are some more taken last week, but i have to admit that I kind of lost track of days, moving around so much, packing, unpacking. We're in Hoi An now for 6 days of beach and rest and the connection is good so I'll be able to fill in my lost days.

Marcel, the second and third picture will not open. I tried it again and now it is working. I really like the first two!!

I think I was editing them while you were trying to open. I had some vertical pics that would show up horizontal.

It rained a little today and I had time to work a little on the pics I've taken so far in the last week. Here are another few:

The middle one with the single boat looks like it belongs in a gallery nicely framed and matted.

Thanks Jeff, that's probably where it's going to end too. There is a whole bunch that I haven't had time to work on yet. I probably have enough shots to last me the whole winter. I'll have more time then.

Marcel, all good... Love the monkey(?) for the clarity and color... love the clay where the hands are so still and yet the motion of the pottery is visible... Like how the motion shows in this shot.. I tried to do something similar the other day (not pottery) and I bombed..

I previously had some luck with a couple prop planes and a copter (prop & roter)

Great job... thanks for sharing Marcel, I learn more daily from everyone here's photos.

Marcel, I would like to add that you are really turning out some high quality images and also that your also doing an exceptional job on post processing. I admire the very real and natural look you are getting in all of your images. There seems to be a trend by many to over do everything to the point it detracts from what could otherwise be a very desirable image. I am very impressed with your work and enjoy looking at your photos!!!

Thanks for the comments everyone. We are having such a nice trip. We hiked and spent a night at a farmer's house and were really welcomed. These people were very simple but nice. Here is a snapshot I did of them in their kitchen while they were having breakfast:

And a few landscape shots from their surroundings:

It rained today and we hadn't any visits planned, so I had some time to post process some of last week's shots. Here are 3 from Hanoi:

It's very common to see entire families on scooters or small motorcycles.
Horns full blast while traffic slowly moves but never stops. Traffic lights are just decorations here.
