Here are a few more from a totally different session. Yes, the models were just great, specially Lara. Lara could either be 18 or 25 in the pictures depending on how she'd face the camera.

So this is a session done with Lara and Ana:

I haven't tried any of this type of work so I might be wrong but to me the skin tone in the last one looks natural but in the first two the skin doesn't look natural to me. Jeff

Oh there was retouching done to the first two ones. I'm a beginner as far as retouching skin goes so I might have gone a little bit too far… Don't know for sure.

Marcel, it looks like you had a very busy week and had a lot of great opportunities. You shot some very nice photos while you were there. Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I had a great time. But it was darn HOT. It wasn't just fun and games since there were a few of us and we had to share the models and had specific time allowed with the flash unit.

But overall, I'm very happy and I learned quite a bit from this experience.

I re-hashed my panorama and this is the almost finished version (a never ending thing)

Back to work with my customers who are maybe not as glamourous as the models but can be as beautiful.

Line is the wife of the main piano player. She hovered over on her lunch time just to let me in to work on their piano.

I worked on a few more shots from Malta.

One nice panorama done hand held:

Probably my last from the Julian Knight photo event in Malta. These were taken in the pool (kind of scary to get in there with the D700…). I did less retouching than Julian would do but to each his own.
Enjoy

Day 266, September 22nd.

My little niece's birthday. Shy little girl didn't want to show me the tooth she had lost.

Day 267, September 23rd

Today, I'm in a bind. I started by thinking I'd be lucky to get one good shot in after my walk in the park, but without my knowledge, as I was shooting a tree, I didn't notice the heron in the bottom right corner. Pure fluke.

But I also had these two shots that I liked:

HDR bench.

And this fall composition:

So, all in all, my 45 minutes walk was productive. There are more but I'll spare you for now. ;)
