Day 226, August 13th

Work related pics today. Didn't get time to go out shooting so you'll have to look at dirt. Dirt under the keys; this is what gets under the keys of a piano after about 1 year of regular playing. Try to imagine what get there after 10 years without a regular maintenance cleaning...



Now a failed glue joint caused by poor design and workmanship. Asian pianos are not what great old American uprights used to be...

Day 227, August 14th

I've entitled this one "lens money". I usually collect my spare change every night and wait before a holiday or when I need something special to break the piggy bank. There was more than I thought this year to say the least.



And a Colleague came for a visit and I had to do his portrait with a piano action in the background for my piano persons book.

Worked all day and only had time to take 2 shots just before dinner with friends. No cropping and minor adjustments with iPhoto.

Only shot 4 frames so far. I guess I'm getting cheap with digital film

But here's a flower I had never seen in my life. My customer told me it was a passion flower… Sure looks sensuous. So, here is the customer and her flower.

Day 231, August 18thWent to a sculpture exhibit and was lucky to find the artist there. At first the museum person told us that there were no photos allowed, but when I saw the artist I asked him for a portrait opportunity and he said yes.So here is Maj Fortier with his 800 pound bronze saxophone:

I really really like the walk way/path by the water, very inticing. Makes me want to go sit there and enjoy the view. Very nice.

I think all of these are very good but I want to say that the lighting and the detail on the last one is exceptional!!! Jeff
