How does everyone copyright or mark their photo's as theirs? Editing each photo and adding your own mark would take forever. So does anyone even bother to mark the photo's?

I would never post a photo without doing the proper post processing and watermarking.

If it is worth shooting it is worth doing it correctly

Same here, easy to setup and apply.
Or if you do not have lightroom/Photoshop, a quick look on google will find you some software.

I do mine in Photoshop with a brush--the brush is specifically made to stamp the watermark on the photo. First I add a new layer then add the watermark. Having the separate layer allows me to use layer styles for the watermark (such as beveling or drop shadow).

Lightroom makes it very easy. And is great editing software.

There are plenty of software options for watermarking your photos. Picassa, Gimp, LR, Photoshop, and a slew of watermarking specific APPs/software.
