Today arrived the Raynox DCR-250 so I removed the reversed 50mm 1.4D and tried it out. As you can see the Raynox does get you a lot closer and the quality is still the same its also easier to manage than having a 50mm Reversed on the end, auto focus still works if you want it, but I tend to still go manually.

This is my current setup. And yes that's a stubby holder joining my 90mm tamron and reversed 50mm 1.4D.

Hi Pat, it attaches just like a lens cap and can be fitted to various sized lenses. I even tried it on my 50mm and it works great.

I can't wait for my Camera to come back from the shop. .My reversal mount ring came in today. Coupled with the aperture control ring ..it's going to be good.
