Love the color photo. The added light streaking in the B&W seems just a little overexposed/underdefined. Otherwise it's a great concept.

I like the B&W. Too bad the color one is overexposed… I don't know if it could be saved with post processing? Did you use RAW? Have you tried playing with the processing to darken the sky and gain some info from the light ball?

Thank you for the feedback!

GM- I use a remote and a tripod for a long exposure, the image itself is by various fire techniques, the color one is me spinning fire poi behind the hand to give the affect that the hand is holding a fireball. The BW is in a water runoff tunnel where i used the end of one of my fire staffs as a paint brush to create the "heartbeat monitor" design and a flash light to write live. Hope that helps if you want info on settings just lmk!

Blackdoorhippie- thanks! ill see if i can save it a little bit in post processing, the only post processing i performed was to remove a small amount of ghosting.

Marcel- Unfortunately these images were taken as jpeg ive only recently started shooting in raw im still fairly new in photography, the post processing so far was only to remove a small bit of ghosting, i may be able to salvage a some of the photo we shall see!

Did you "paint with light" on these? They are both very interesting but I see elements in both images which seem over esposed. In the first one, the statue seems to be too light, and in the second, the painting on the wall seems too bright to my eyes. I toned both of them down, what do you think?
